Lake is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School. Primarily, Lake has worked in jazz, but he is not limited to one genre. Lake is a guitarist, composer, and arranger. Some of the musicians he has played with are Ben Street, Jason Moran, Craig Weinrib and many more. Lake is now residing in Southern California.
